Dollars for Scholars is a local, volunteer-operated, community based scholarship foundation legally affiliated with Scholarship America founded in 1958, which is the nation's largest private sector scholarship and educational support organization.

Dollars for Scholars foundations are located in cities throughout the United States. Some chapters have provided scholarships for over 50 years.

The Oldham County chapter was started in the fall of 2004 and our first scholarships were awarded to the class of 2005.

To provide scholarships to high school graduates who reside in Oldham County that will help them achieve their educational goals.
