Dear Lori,
Can I tell you just how blessed I was to score for OCDFS last week? On the day I went, we scored the Community Service essays. I read about 30 essays while I was there. I was amazed and touched when I witnessed through essays how awesome are OC teenagers are. Most all of the students were involved in several wonderful heart-giving outreach activities. I walked away truly glad I had scored that day and wanting to tell everyone how great the students in our community are. I am thinking about writing a letter to the editor of the Oldham Era. Thanks for the opportunity. People just don't know what their missing by not signing up to score!
Have a great day!
Rachael

In the Spotlight
"It was great being an Oldham County Dollars For Scholars recipient. It was really cool to know that people in the community really care about the future generation, and are willing to invest in it. It also helped this year just being able to have the extra monetary help, because not only is college a fun experience, it's also expensive! Through this scholarship program I am eternally linked to this community, and I look forward to paying it back in any way possible.
